Now that you have that your lovely domain and you have paid for your Hosting Service it’s now time to install the WordPress CMS.
Installing WordPress is quite easy; you can easily install WordPress automatically from your hosting Panel in just a few minutes.
Virtually all host company have a CPanel, you can access it usually through www.cpanel.yourdomain.com or www.yourdomain.com/cpanel
When you login to your Panel, look for the Fantastico options at the Cpanel homepage;
Click on this link and it will take you to a page with lists of various CMS software you can install.
You are to look for WordPress from the list and select it; the system will automatically guide you through the Installation Process.
When installing the software, you will be requested to provide a username and password, please use a strong password for security reasons and this will be your Username and password you will be using to access your Blog Dashboard.
You can visit your blog now to see how your blog looks like. You will probably find a test page and post that has been pre-loaded into WordPress. You can remove this from your dashboard.
The dashboard is where you control everything that goes in and around on your blog. It is the place where you publish your posts, approve comments, add pages, and change your Theme and many much more.
To login to your Blog Dashboard you will have to go through this link format: www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin when you put this address in your browser it will take you to your login page where you will provide your Username and password. Enter your Username and password and start customizing your blog.
The first thing you may want to change is your blog Theme (design); there is lots of free WordPress Theme with different designs to suit your needs.
You can search for themes from the Theme Options page available in the left sidebar of your blog dashboard.
However, if you have some bucks you may want to buy a premium theme like Thesis or the Genesis Framework.
