Guest blogging is the norm of the hour, I seriously think that Google respect this tactic more than any known ones.
Patel, you’re so right – it is the cheapest way to make Google increase your page rank.
I will begin guest blogging fully in February – since, to me, it is the most liable way to get quality traffic.

For me, guest posting is a waste of time. How many guest posts you need to be known, to be popular? 50 or 100? This may take half a year to gather the first harvest.. That’s why I don’t think it’s useful.
As for blog money earning, I am either untalented or unlucky to earn only $1.000 dollars last year.. I spent many hours writing and commenting. What did I get? Almost nothing((

Guest blogging is not a waste of time at all, the major problem most people have is that they dont know how to run a successful guest blogging campaign. If you work on running a successful guest blogging campaign, you can become a popular blogger within 3-4 months of starting your blog and you will start making some cool money online.

Basically, Google likes unique and informative content that has something to share, reveal or contribute to its readers. There are set of rules and guidelines to follow in guest blogging so each content will have to undergo a manual review before it gets published to avoid poorly written content and irrelevant linking.
When it comes to link value, links coming from website within your industry is much more valuable rather than links coming from article directories. Also, article directories are less useful nowadays since Google rolled out their Panda algorithm.
